Alexandre Bazin is an electronic and experimental musician, influenced by musical research and the UK and Berlin electronic scene. His instrumental music revolves around sonic textures, saturations, feedback, self-sampling of chopped and pitched sounds, allowing new fragments to emerge to create melodies and rhythms.
His music is published by Important Records (USA), Umor Rex Records (Mexico). He performed at the Moogfest festival in the USA in 2018 (alongside Caterina Barbieri and Kali Malone “Upper Glossa”). live on France TV CultureBox in 2021, he plays at La Gaîté Lyrique in 2022. Le Trabendo (alongside Lorenzo Senni & Donato Dozzy) and Point Éphémère (alongside Brandt Brauer Frick) in 2023.
Alexandre Bazin produces monthly documentaries for Radio France and GRM (Groupe de Recherches Musicales), tracing the history of the experimental scene from its beginnings to the present day. His documentary on minimalist music was programmed during the Minimal evening at the Centre Pompidou in 2018.
