Alma's first encounter with a piano was when she was 5 years old. Her parents, who had gone on a vacation trip, came back with a small Casio that would never leave her. It is her first memory of music, that deeply inscribed in her every time she sits down in front of an instrument. After discovering blues and gospel music at the age of 14, Alma started a classical training and studied opera singing for a year. She worked on her voice for a long time during this period, which gave her the necessary basis to fully develop her voice.
New recruit of Cracki Records alongside Agar Agar, Saint DX or Lucien & The Kimono Orchestra, Alma Elste unveils "Cy", a first single in homage to the painter Cy Twombly whom she loves a lot. The whole put in images in the sublime clip directed by Thomas Gerard. It is a light, airy, comforting piece, in short, with her music, Alma Elste places us in a kind of cocoon in which we find it difficult to leave.
